Shara Lumielle

The Starborne Huntress

🌿 Personality
Shara is calm, observant, and deliberate. Years in the jungle taught her to listen more than speak, and this silence is often mistaken for coldness. But beneath it lies a quiet intensity when she acts, she does so with passion and purpose. Her stoicism is not detachment, but control. She’s used to walking alone and making her own way but when someone earns her trust, her loyalty is unshakable. She has a “pack” mentality deep down; she will protect those she cares for with her life. The same curiosity that drew her from Viras fuels her desire to explore the world’s mysteries be they arcane, historical, or cultural. However, she rarely reveals her thoughts or feelings, preferring to keep her emotional cards close to her chest. While she holds respect for nature and discipline, she despises rigid hierarchies and outdated traditions. Titles mean nothing to her if not backed by action. She refuses to bow simply because others expect it.
🎯 Interests
1. Cartography & Mapmaking
Her journey has instilled in her a love of maps. She often sketches her own during her travels, adding notes about terrain, dangers, or hidden beauty. It's both a survival skill and a quiet hobby her way of leaving a record of the world she's seen.
2. Beast Observation & Monster Tracking
While she often works as a hunter, Shara has grown increasingly fascinated by monsters and beasts less for the thrill of killing, and more for understanding how they survive. She keeps a personal bestiary with sketches and notes.
3. Music of the Realms
Though her upbringing was silent and reverent, the music of Eorzea captivates her. She doesn't perform herself, but she attends taverns or bard performances whenever she can. She particularly loves stringed instruments harps and violins move her in a way she doesn't quite understand.
4. Stargazing & Mythology
Out in the wilds, she often lies back and stares at the stars. She listens to local myths and constellations with fascination, comparing them to the old Viras legends. The idea of fate written in the stars both intrigues and unsettles her.

Shara Lumielle

The Starborne Huntress

From Viras to the UnknownDeep in the Golmore Jungle, hidden from prying eyes, lay Viras, a secluded village of the Rava Viera. The people of Viras lived in harmony with the land, following ancient traditions, unseen and unheard by the outside world. Shara was born among them, raised as a warrior-huntress. From childhood, she learned to track prey through dense jungle, to hunt with precision, and to fight with both bow and lance.Yet, even as she mastered the arts of her people, something felt incomplete. Shara often gazed beyond the jungle canopy, wondering what lay past the wilds. The elders spoke of the dangers of the outside world, of men who could not be trusted and lands where Viera were seen as little more than myths. But the warnings only made her more curious. Her decision was made when a group of poachers trespassed into Viras, seeking the legendary skill of the Viera archers to either capture them or steal their techniques. The battle was swift Shara and her kin drove them out with ease, but one of the poachers spoke before he fled:"You belong to more than this jungle, rabbit. If you leave, you’ll see it for yourself."And so, she left. But with each step away from Viras, she felt the weight of her name. A name tied to a place that no longer defined her. The Viera of Viras remained in the jungle, bound to its traditions. But she?She was something else. She cast aside "Viras" and took a new name one that represented the unseen forces that had drawn her forward, the unknown energies of the world that she now chased.Shara Aetherion was born.

A Stranger in a Strange Land
When she finally left the jungle, stepping onto the unfamiliar soil of Eorzea, Shara found herself overwhelmed. The cities were loud, full of voices she could not understand, faces that did not recognize her ways. She struggled to speak, often reduced to gestures and broken phrases. Many mistook her silence for coldness, but in truth, she simply did not know how to communicate.Despite this, she adapted as she always had. In the forests of Gridania, she found solace, its trees a faint echo of home. She took work as a hunter and scout, tracking beasts for the Wood Wailers and delivering supplies between settlements. Her skills as a lancer and archer made her a valuable ally to adventurers who needed a guide through dangerous terrain.Though she rarely spoke, her actions spoke for her. She earned the respect of those who fought alongside her, proving that words were not the only way to forge bonds.---------------------------------------------------------------------The Journey to IshgardShara’s first stop was Gridania, but even among the forests, she felt like an outsider. She struggled with the Eorzean language, often relying on gestures and short phrases to communicate. Though the people were kind, she felt restless. The wilderness was familiar, but she had not left home to remain in another forest. While traveling through the region, Shara took a hunting trip that led her farther than she had anticipated. What was meant to be a brief excursion into the wilds of the Shroud turned into something much more. A series of missteps and a fierce storm left her lost and disoriented, far from the familiar paths. She wandered for days, her food and supplies dwindling as she tried to find her way back.By the time she stumbled into the frozen lands of Ishgard, she was weak, cold, and exhausted. The sudden shift from the humid forests to the bitter cold was jarring, but there was no turning back. The city of knights stood before her, a place of stark contrasts to the jungle she had known. The towering spires of Ishgard rose against a bleak sky, a city that seemed as cold and unwelcoming as the snow-covered earth around it.The people here eyed her warily her foreignness, her ears, and her strange accent all made her stand out. But Shara, never one to shrink in the face of judgment, pressed forward. She had made it this far, and now, she would find her place in this strange land.It was in Ishgard that she met Jara, a wandering Viera Dark Knight who had long cast aside the traditions of their homeland. Jara helped her recover from her ordeal and taught her the ways of the city, including the language and customs of Eorzea. With Jara’s guidance, Shara began to find her footing in this new world.---------------------------------------------------------------------The Path AheadShe walks a path between worlds a warrior of the jungle, a wanderer of Eorzea, who refuses to be defined by blood, tradition, or birthplace. With her trusted spear and bow by her side, she moves forward into the unknown world of Eorzea, to find her own place. She will carve her own legend. Not as an outsider or an anomaly, but as, fierce fighter of the realm.
